Enrollment Policy

Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School (RMLHS) is owned and operated by a Federation of Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Churches in the state of Colorado for the purpose of giving a Christ-centered education to the youth of our Federation members. The school also opens it's doors to non-Federation families interested in a comprehensive Christian education for their children.

Prospective freshmen must have satisfactorily completed the eighth grade. An official transcript of the student's academic elementary record is necessary for enrollment. Transfer students also need a current transcript.

Non-Discrimination Policy

While Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School is maintained primarily for students who belong to the RMLHS Federation of congregations, we also recognize the fact that "...God does not show favoritism, but accepts men from every nation who fear Him..." (Acts 10:34-35). Therefore, Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarships and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.

Tuition

The cost of educating a student at RMLHS is approximately $8500 per year. However, both Federation and non-Federation students pay $5140 per year for tuition. The remainder of the tuition cost is subsidized by RMLHS Federation congregations and private individuals. Tuition payments can be made annually, semi-annually, or monthly through our tuition management company. A $150 discount is given if tuition is paid in full at registration; a $100 discount is given if tuition is paid semi-annually.

Fees

A non-refundable application fee of $50 must accompany each new student application to reserve a student space. FACTS, our tuition management company, charges an enrollment fee of $41 per year. There are no extra textbook fees; these fees are included in the tuition. Yearbook fee is $50 per student per year. Football has a $250 sports fee each season; fees for all other sports are $100 per season.

Dorm Options

At the present time, we do not offer dormitory housing. We hope to be able to offer this type of housing in the future. Currently our out-of-town students stay with local families. The costs for room and board are $190/month for five days each week (weekends at home) or $250/month for all seven days each week. Payments begin in August and end in May.
